Basic Life Support: CPR and First Aid Provider Course
The Basic Life Support: CPR and First Aid course is designed to teach the
knowledge and skills needed to provide basic life support (BLS) and
cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to adult patients with life-threatening
injuries, while also activating emergency medical services (EMS). The first aid
section teaches participants how to recognize medical emergencies and
traumatic injuries and to provide care while waiting for EMS to arrive.
Emergency Oxygen for Scuba Diving Injuries Provider Course
The Emergency Oxygen for Scuba Diving Injuries course teaches participants
to recognize common presentations of diving injuries and how to provide
emergency oxygen first aid for these situations. This course is specifically
designed as lay-provider training to educate participants to recognize divingrelated
injuries and to properly use emergency oxygen for that purpose.
