Use Your G.I. Bill® With SA SCUBA SHACK 

Did you know you can use your G.I. Bill® to pay for many of our scuba certifications and licenses? You can choose from a wide selection of programs we offer. Are you interested in learning to dive, improve your diving skills, and becoming a dive professional? The G.I. Bill® can help you accomplish this. Who qualifies for the benefit?

    • This program is designed for veterans by veterans. SA Scuba Shack is an approved instructor development center for any service member, retiree, or family member(s) that have G.I. Bill® benefits. Qualifying members may be reimbursed for their certifications and related fees.  For VA licensing and certification reimbursement program details click here.
    • One to six months of your benefits may be applied toward becoming a NAUI Open Water DIver up to becoming a NAUI Instructor or NAUI Course Director.  Choose your path of becoming a Divemaster, Diving Instructor, Instructor Trainer, and a Course Director.

As veterans ourselves, we understand the committment you have made to/for our country.  Now we are making a committment to you (the Service Member):

  • Enroll in a VA Approved program with SA Scuba Shack
  • Browse the VA Approved Course Catalog for related courses, such as NAUI Rescue Diver Search and Recovery Diver, Divemaster and Instructor

Learn about G.I. Bill® eligibility requirements and find out if you can get these benefits. VA education benefits can help you pay your tuition, pick out a school, choose a career, and more. If you’re an active-duty service member or Veteran, a member of the National Guard or Reserves, or a qualified survivor or dependent, find out if you can get VA education benefits through the G.I. Bill® and other educational assistance programs.

  • Step 1: Apply for your G.I. Bill® benefits.

    • If you have already applied for your benefits and just need to find out how many months of benefits you have left, please go to the VA website at: My Benefits. and follow the steps on how to check your benefits.
    • Print out your and save a copy of your VA statement Of Benefits

    You will need to bring it to us or email a copy to info@sascubashack.com

  • Step 2: Register with SA Scuba Shack for one of our VA Approved Programs:

    • Stop by our store and register in person
    • Register online by selecting the link below

  • Step 3: Reimbursement

    Upon completion of all exams. SA Scuba Shack will give you three documents and a presentation so you can submit for your VA reimbursement. (all reimbursements from the VA are first come first serve but it is taking about 1 to 3 weeks to receive your reimbursement from the VA).
